Description

Etching refers to a technique of creating art on a surface of glass by applying acidic, caustic or abrasive services . Traditionally this was done after the glass was blown or cast.This became quite a popular source of glass late Victorian to Edwardian and has continued since. Glass like this allows plenty of light through it and looks very clean in its appearance which bodes well for areas such as kitchen, bathroom or main areas such as vestibule or exterior.
