40x Beaconsfield 1930’s Elm & Beech Slatback Church Chapel Chairs with Rack - Betchworth, Surrey

Description

A pleasing medium dark patina with a hint of green – this was popular in the 1930’s. With a book rack that is angled out at the back and back supporting slats that bow in the front, it is a well proportioned chair.

Were all used in a recent theatre production on the life of Oscar Wilde by Studio Voltaire.
