High quality materials, years of expertise & knowledge, beautiful design and assured practicality all harmonise together to create Carron’s range of Fireplaces, that will adorn your home for generations to come. Nothing quite beats a roaring fire, housed in an exquisite cast iron fireplace – the look and feel has been the mainstay of homes for over 400 years. Carron fireplaces will take pride of place in any room with unbeatable eminence and style.
Insert fireplaces are so called because they have built-in firebacks and are designed to be inserted into chimney openings measuring approximately 36” x 36” (915 x 915mm) or larger. In appearance, these can be either completely cast or cast with slots for decorative tiles. The former are generally earlier designs whilst cast iron fireplaces incorporating two vertical ceramic panels became particularly fashionable from the mid-1880s onwards.

An ornate radiator with a scrolled top. With intricate Rococo motifs and a depth of just 140mm, Rococo is a slimmer, space-saving alternative to the King and Queen ranges. 560mm tall, 140mm deep. Available in three heights and built to order at any length up to 2m. Suits Victorian properties or older. We love this model finished in Satin Polish and paired with Chatsworth valves in Black Nickel for a statement piece, in Natural Brass with Windsor valves for a more classic appearance or in Bronze Verdigris for a real talking point.
The door is an original door which has been stripped of all old paints and then fully renovated to include full repairs to any old handle areas etc. The art deco is so simple but so effective - choice of colours
Brown leather on dark wood frame.
Good condition, no tears.
Lead time approximately 5 weeks.
The glass design is taken from an original nouveau tulip with all its elegance - and strong colours - using a emerald green and stricking reds typical of the strong nouveau period. This design would look fine in any shape of the top panel be it square with shape as seen, oval, rectangle or round as the design is very much a central design.

We are occasionally asked for a more economical purchase and are able to offer from a range of doors which have not been subject to our extensive renovation. Of course these doors then require your labour, but the result is a door finished by you at a very good price.
The individual door may require the following: repairs to the original locking areas and other cosmetic repairs; some may require clamping to achieve a better fit at the joints; others may need panels to be glued, and finally of course the door will always require filling and sanding before they are treated to your chosen finish.
With any of these doors we can always instead price for the complete refurbishment of the door, but due to our labour costs this will then be reflected in a much increased price.

We have a great passion for making leaded light, and our aim is to make it just as it was, using stained glass which is identical to how it was made originally. We also make sure it sits comfortably with the character of its surroundings i.e. Georgian, Victorian or Edwardian, and we have a wealth of knowledge in these designs, traditional colours and texture mixes.
A stained glass entrance that looks as it if has always been there.
